According to Dr. Rashti, 9% of patients who suffer from gum disease are more likely to pass away from COVID-19. Another staggering statistic mentions that at least 4.5% of patients will require ventilation, and 2.5% of patients are admitted into the ICU.

"There is a significant increase in the number of people who are recovering from COVID-19 and now are suffering from dental issues such as chipped teeth, grinding, and broken teeth."
